Community Safety
For a community to reach total safety for its populace and its rapport, they should set strong boundaries, about what is acceptable and what is seen as criminal activities within that particular community.
Through the communities rapport we are able to close criminal activities and build harmonious relationship in which the people or groups concerned understand each other's feelings and or ideas which builds strong ties because of often communicating well and effectively with each other to develop preventative measure that assist them to tactically challenge the ever changing minds of criminals
"Community Safety from a Birds Eye View is better than when it is watched from a focal point, because at times the eyes don't see what others saw."
With safety in mind! The main focus is on the communities, we protect because they are our first priority. Which is why, we have adopted a strategy of keeping Tshwane and its surrounding areas as safe as possible. With the assistance of Local and District Government. We are able to reach out to those, who need us the most. We are also able to communicate with stakeholders effectively on a platform that obligates them to assist in the implementation of social crime and safety programs. Which is why, we took the time to align each community's needs to the Tshwane Community Safety programs. As a Civil Society Organization, we empower community members from a neighbour's point of view to be vigilant and always have open eyes for criminal activities and wrong doing at all times.
We also urge community members to help one another especially in nabbing suspects that commit crimes within our various neighbourhoods. This practice is being done to protect our loved ones from Robberies within the neighbourhood, House Break-ins, Domestic Violence, Child abuse, GBV, GBVF and other related social crimes.
We are working closely with one innovative organization and they are developing technology to assist us in the fight against crime. They are currently busy developing an app that will assist members of the community to live better and safer lives. The program is designed to combine resources as it helps community members to closely work with the Police, the Tshwane Metro Police, the Community policing Forums and neighbourhood securities, to try and not just minimize crime but to eradicate it by 2030. This practice is already being implemented within the various neighbourhoods that are part of the intended community safety programmes. We would also like to celebrate the lovely work done by the community leaders called the Brigades they have been doing a great job in minimizing Domestic Violence issues within the various communities they serve. The Community Policing Forums for the safety they provide within communities and within crime hotspots.
From our perspective, if the project was to receive extensive support and to gain enough resources then, we will be able to implement programs that are meant to assist with the radical eradication of crime within our neighbourhoods within Tshwane, Gauteng and other parts of South Africa our aim is to create a better and safer South Africa for all.
