Welcome to Every Individual Counts

Every Individual Counts (EIC) is a community-rooted Non-Profit Organization based in the heart of Mamelodi, driven by the conviction that systemic change begins with the empowerment of the ‘Individual Within’. This concept was firstly established to address the unique socio-economic challenges within our community. We later discovered how a lot of families operate on the fundamental belief that every resident possesses inherent potential that, when properly nurtured and supported, they can transform not only their own life but the trajectory of their family and possibly their entire neighbourhood. We then looked at rigours ways in which they can become game changers for the families that reside within Mamelodi and its’ surrounding area’s.

Every Individual Counts is a registered Non-profit organization! It was established and registered with the National Department of Social Development in 2024, under the Act 71 of 1997 and it was established to facilitate Civil Societal Services (CSS), provide access to Public Services (PS), to deploy and also register citizens for volunteerism. This action is done to put unemployed people within, fruitful and conducive working environments that can be in forms of learnerships, internships, volunteerism and formal employment. The organisation in its own rights was founded with sound governance, pure accountability and transparency as it acts as a public voice. We are specialists in revitalizing human belief especially from grassroot level. We are governed by the principles and practices of Ubuntu which helps us to properly engage with various stakeholders and direct community members. While we explore better innovative ways of advancing the basic Human Developments that encourage Self-empowerment and Self-actualization.

We focus most of our resources on self-development and on essential and the fundamental principles of Ubuntu. Our aim is to develop, transform and create sustenance within the lives of the people, who seek our services and those that receive our services.

VISION

Our vision is to create a society where every individual feels seen, appreciated, valued and most of all empowered to co-create the ideal future we have all envisaged. We envision utilising social cohesion and ubuntu as the core foundational structures which play a pivotal role as an everlasting vehicle of social change in South Africa.

MISSION

Our mission is to combine all the factors that can capacitate as many people, with social related issues, raise awareness and also offer them extensive knowledge, insight and a channel to receiving all the social services, we offer as a Non-profit organization. We would like to be as innovate enough to offer community members with tailor made social solutions and services.
